How being a Dental Nurse can be so rewarding
1st February 2024Tara has been working with us for 2 years and is very hard working, her care for patients is outstanding! We are extremely happy to have Tara as a member of our team:
Hello I’m Tara and one of the dental nurses at Inspired Dentistry and I would like to explain a little about my job role.
I have been nursing now for a little over 4 years and thoroughly enjoy my role within the practice. You sometimes worry that you have left something too late in life to pursue but I am so glad I didn’t let this put me off and went for the career change.
I work alongside an amazing team which makes all the difference within your working environment and helps you to provide the best possible care and treatment for our amazing patients. Patient interaction is a massive part of being a dental nurse and I just love building up a good rapport with patients and making even the most nervous of people feel at ease and comfortable.
I recently completed a radiography course qualifying as a radiographer allowing me to take dental x-rays on patients which has been a great addition to nursing. I have been training within the surgical clinic i.e, implants with our principal Dr Rehman, which I have really enjoyed and continue to enjoy as I further my knowledge and skills.
I love patients leaving the practice feeling happier and more confident than when they first came through the doors which is always our overall goal. I look forward to progressing further within nursing and meeting more lovely patients.
If you are looking for not only amazing/high quality treatment/service from start to finish but a friendly face too, give our practice a call and speak to our lovely reception team on 02380 328888 to get yourself booked in.
