At Inspired Dentistry we can provide Intravenous Sedation

Intravenous sedation is a highly effective and popular way of helping a patient to relax.

This type of sedative is injected with a very fine needle so the process is quick and comfortable – bar a tiny little needle prick at the very beginning. You will quickly start to feel calm and relaxed, although you might feel slightly drowsy.

You will still be able to talk to our Dentist throughout the duration of your appointment but will be blissfully unaware of the procedure – in fact, it’s likely the process will be over before you even realise!

The effects of intravenous sedation can take several hours to wear off so it’s important that you bring someone with you so that they can help you get home – and also look after you for a few hours until you feel more normal.
